Welcome to Greenwood Bay College Pre-school, where every day is an adventure in learning and exploration. Our Pre-school program is designed to provide a safe, nurturing environment for young minds to grow and thrive.
Curriculum and Activities
Grade 000 & 00 enjoy Monkeynastics as part of their school day.
Grade 0 classes benefit from a comprehensive program that includes Monkeynastics, Sport, Computers, and Swimming.
We offer a variety of optional extramural activities to enrich our students' experiences, including Ballet, Playball, Little Lab Coats, and Pottery. Please note that specific days and times for extra-murals vary from term to term. These are charged externally.

Our daily routine is carefully crafted to provide a balanced blend of structured learning, free play, and creative expression. Here's a glimpse into a typical day at Greenwood Bay College Preschool:
7:30-8:30
Drop Off: Parents drop off their children, marking the beginning of an exciting day.
8:00-8:30
Table Rotations and Free Play Inside: Engaging educational activities and free play indoors stimulate young minds.
8:30-9:30
Morning Greetings, Circle Time, and Outdoor Play:
Positive start to the day, followed by outdoor play promoting physical activity and socialization.
9:30-10:00
Wash Hands and Table Activities/Circle Time:
Hands-on learning and interactive sessions continue.
10:00-10:30
Snack Time: Children enjoy a nutritious snack while learning good table manners.
10:30-11:45
Outdoor Free Play and Indoor Activities:
More outdoor fun, teamwork during pack away time, and indoor activities covering various subjects and arts.
11:45-13:00
Pack Away, Story Time, and Songs:
Wrapping up the day with responsibility, storytelling, and joyful songs.
Additional Offerings and Features
- Our curriculum focuses on individual growth, independence, and social skills development.
- Ongoing observation and communication with parents ensure a supportive and collaborative approach to learning.
- We offer three grades: Grade 000, Grade 00, and Grade 0, catering to children's specific developmental stages.
- Aftercare is available from 13:15 to 17:00 for added convenience.
- A variety of extracurricular activities enhance our holistic approach to education.
Requirements
Please ensure your child has the following items:
- Healthy snack and drink (no sweets or fizzy drinks)
- Fruit for daily consumption
- Extra clothing, clearly labelled
- School bag with easy access
- GBC Pre-school sun hat and Pre-school shirt (compulsory)
- Book bag for library book
- Personal hygiene items and Grade 0 stationery (details available at the front office)
